Step 1:

Make sure your Tesla is below 50% state of charge! ( I would recommend even lower… like 20%)

To get into service mode we're first going to want to hit the car icon on the bottom left we're going to want to go to software

Step 2:

From here hold down the model 3 logo and then for the access code we're just going to type in service.

Step 3:

Hit Enable on the Service Mode Pop Up Window and then you will see this red line around the screen

Tap on battery and then we're going to click high voltage so you can see my battery health says 100 percent and we know that's not true because I have over 50,000 miles on this car. Then tap on Health test.

Step 4:

Hold up the Turn Stalk + Hold the Break + Have your tesla key card in position on the center console.

The car will then allow you to start the health test.

Continue to process by tapping on the OK button

Step 5:

Your Tesla’s fan will be running full blast and you may hear your car make some weird noises. (This is Normal).

Let the test do its thing as it may take up to 24 hours. I ran this test over night and came back to my car in the morning.

You will know the test is complete when you Tesla is charged up to 100% and you can see the new battery health percentage.
